First plein air of 2010

After last night's big storm, I didn't think we'd be able to get outside and draw today. Linda, Sharon and I headed out to San Juan County Park, and found beautiful light. The yellow lichen grows on the offshore rocks. Small prismacolor drawing.

2 canvases, One painting

I didn't upload these very well, they are the same 24" high....painted side by side to make one long piece. Earlier this month, I was visiting Shaw and sketched the view back to San Juan Island. These 2 canvases are the results of that experience. 24 x 72" overall.
