New Work from New York

My canvases have arrived from a month sabbatical in NYC. Linda Degnan-Cobos and I spent the month of April working at the Arts Student League, and the National Acadeny of Fine Arts. Linda worked with George Cannata and Charles Hinman. I worked with Henry Finkelstein, and Frank O'Cain. We both worked with Mary Beth McKenzie Nikki Orback, and Mariano Del Rosario. How did we do this? We worked from 8 am until 10 pm, 6 days a week. Our 7th day we visited the Metropolitain, the Guggenheim, the Jewish Museum's Abstract Expressionist show, MOMA, the Neue Gallery, and various galleries inbetween.

I am stretching painted canvases now, I liked the process of shipping rolled canvases, didn't feel retricted to use only small panels that would fit in my suitcase.
After numerous art travel adventures, shipping back (or hand carrying) rolled canvases works very well.
